TAOKE ENERGY's Energy Storage Facility Tours in Tochigi Prefecture
On June 17 and June 23, 2025, TAOKE ENERGY Co., Ltd., based in Minato, Tokyo, hosted a successful open house event for their energy storage facility in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture. Both days saw attendance surpassing 100 participants, marking a significant milestone for the company.
The event consisted of two main parts: a pre-lecture and a site visit. During the pre-lecture, experts from TAOKE ENERGY outlined their unique business model, which includes a comprehensive approach to energy storage development—ranging from land selection and administrative surveys to power application processes, design, construction, and market operation. This model is backed by the company’s extensive experience, having developed over 50 energy storage facilities nationwide.
One of the key technological highlights shared was the proprietary Energy Management System (EMS), which features redundant and modular design with a remarkable control response time of less than one second. This responsiveness meets the demands of primary adjustment power markets effectively, showcasing the technological advances that set TAOKE ENERGY apart in the sector.
Following the lectures, attendees were given the opportunity to tour the facility, where they could see the actual battery and power conditioning system (PCS) configurations as well as the interiors of the equipment. Feedback from participants indicated that the site visit deepened their understanding of the system's structure and operational technologies.
