Zoomlion Celebrates Milestone in Battery Production

In a remarkable feat for the green energy sector, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has marked the production of its 5,000th power battery pack at its Changsha facility. This achievement solidifies the company’s dedication to advancing clean energy solutions and electric vehicle technology.

This milestone was celebrated not just for the quantity but for what it signifies in terms of progress towards a sustainable energy ecosystem. Zoomlion has successfully integrated core components, systems development, and real-world applications, reinforcing its leadership in the energy sector.

The company's proprietary battery management system provides precise cell monitoring and intelligent charge/discharge control, ensuring stable performance even in extreme weather conditions. These power battery packs, which have seen enhanced safety, longer lifespan, and compatibility, are now widely utilized in construction machinery, concrete machinery, and agricultural equipment.

"Our power battery packs are designed for reliability and versatility, offering a lifespan that is 20% longer than comparable products," stated Lin Yong, General Manager of Zoomlion New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. He further noted that these batteries have been successfully deployed in buses with new drive technologies and construction machinery, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from users.

In conjunction with this significant battery milestone, Zoomlion also presented a new suite of essential energy components that includes lithium energy solutions, electric drive systems, and hydrogen energy technology. New Lithium Battery Solutions

Zoomlion has introduced three main series of lithium battery solutions:
1. Xiaoyun Hybrid Agricultural Pack: Compatible with a wide spectrum of applications, capable of operating within a temperature range of -40 °C to 60 °C.
2. Standard Box Series: Features flexible expansions ranging from 140 kWh to 800 kWh and has been rigorously tested in commercial operations covering over 2.6 million kilometers.
3. Mining Series: Built for rugged operational environments, showcasing robust structural safety and tailored internal management systems.

Electric Drive Suite

The new electric drive suite features high-efficiency motors and control systems designed for high power density. Notable components include:

• - A 120 kW reluctance flat wire motor.
• - A 300 kW main drive controller that operates with dual modules.
• - A 700 kW electric drive specifically engineered for mining trucks.

At the heart of this advanced ecosystem is a newly unveiled domain control platform powered by a six-core chip. This platform allows for over 1,000 dynamic adjustments per second, enabling seamless multi-domain management across a variety of electric machines.

Comprehensive Hydrogen Solutions

Additionally, Zoomlion has introduced an extensive hydrogen solution, covering production, refueling, and utilization. This system includes compact electrolyzers, the company's first high-pressure fueling station, and a 300 kW fuel cell power supply unit.
