Chicken N Pickle Celebrates Local Communities on 'Our Hearts Are Local Day'
Every year, Chicken N Pickle, the popular indoor/outdoor entertainment venue, takes a day off from serving food and drinks to dive into the heart of the communities it serves. This year marks the 6th annual "Our Hearts Are Local Day," set for September 2, when all locations will close their doors and direct their efforts towards giving back.
The initiative is a testament to Chicken N Pickle's commitment to philanthropy and community service. With approximately 2,000 employees encouraged to participate, this special day is filled with volunteering opportunities at various local nonprofit organizations. Employees across different states will assist at food banks, animal shelters, and participate in community clean-up efforts, reinforcing the message that Chicken N Pickle cares deeply about the welfare of its neighborhoods.
Kelli Alldredge, the President of Chicken N Pickle, expressed the significance of this day: "This is one of the most meaningful days of the year for us. Our Hearts Are Local Day is about rolling up our sleeves, getting out into the neighborhoods we serve, and living our values. Our teams love it, and we're proud of the impact we've made alongside so many incredible nonprofit partners over the past eight years."
Since its inception, the event has witnessed thousands of volunteer hours contributed across multiple cities, embodying Chicken N Pickle's belief that the prosperity of businesses is intertwined with the health of their communities.
