In a significant move to fortify their global positioning in the low to medium horsepower tractor segment, AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO), a leader in agricultural machinery and precision farming technologies, has announced a new partnership with SDF, a renowned manufacturer of tractors and harvesters, based in Treviglio, Italy. This collaboration aims to provide the Massey Ferguson brand with a more efficient portfolio of tractors tailored to meet the evolving needs of agricultural producers worldwide.
Starting from mid-2025, SDF will begin manufacturing tractors with up to 85 horsepower for global markets, leveraging its expertise in producing high-performance agricultural machinery. This strategic supply agreement is set to revitalize the Massey Ferguson commercial tractor line, enhancing efficiency and meeting the demand for high-quality farming equipment.
