Mark your calendars for an unforgettable night of laughter as the comedy event "Owarai Mei – Nagoya as a Comedy Checkpoint: East-West Young Comedian Battle" rolls into town. This thrilling showdown will take place in Nagoya, a city that serves as the crossroads between Tokyo and Osaka, bringing together six popular young comedians to compete for the ultimate comedy crown!

The Lineup

On the East side, we have: Evers, Ichigo, and Kazoku Fried Rice. Representing the West are: Kabe Poster, Suisei Cheek Dance, and For Example, Flame. Each group is armed with their unique comedic styles and ready to engage in a battle of wits and laughter.

The Competition Format

The event features two primary competition styles:
1. Hardcore Comedy Battle: The fate of the contestants will be determined by audience votes, creating a true challenge of comedic skill and presentation. The winning team will claim bragging rights, and only the funniest will emerge victorious!

2. Exciting Game Challenges: Hosted by the lively MC duo from New York, this part of the event involves several fun activities:
- Comedy BINGO Battle: Contestants will compete using a bingo card filled with nine hilarious genres, including “crossing the stage,” “black humor,” and “melancholic performance.” Participants will engage in a rapid-fire series of comedic jabs and witty games, putting their abilities to the ultimate test.
- Must-Lose Game Battle: Organized under a quirky rule where the objective is to lose, teams will have to creatively think of ways to lose quickly and entertainingly. They will face off in challenges such as "Speed-lose Sumo," "Speed-lose Arm Wrestling," and a creatively absurd "Distance Lose Triple Jump." The team with the most losses at the end will score the win!
