A Course: Soft Vinyl Toy Making Experience

This unique experience focuses on Japan’s impressive art hobby of soft vinyl doll making. Participants will tour the factory and receive detailed instruction from staff on how to create their very own custom soft vinyl figure. You'll get a hands-on experience, pouring materials into molds, extracting the figure from the mold, trimming excess parts, and even painting your creation.

Character Design Choices: Choose between two characters created by illustrator Naoto Hidaka, either MU or SHU. At the end of the day, take home your unique piece, which is a special non-commercial item exclusive to this event.

Workflow Overview

In this collaborative experience, both adults and children will work together:
1. Begin by observing the artisans’ skills.
2. Pour raw materials into the production molds.
3. Solidify materials in a warming unit filled with oil.
4. Delight in the tactile excitement of removing parts from molds while they are still malleable.
5. Trim excess sections and assemble parts before unleashing your creativity through painting!

B Course: Acrylic Goods Creation

Join the growing wave of trendy acrylic goods popular for showcasing passionate collections. In collaboration with Ajiyan, you will gain insight into the production process and then create unique acrylic stands and other items tailored exclusively for you. Bring along a character stand to showcase in an exciting diorama alongside your personal creation!

A workshop will also guide participants on creating acrylic card holders for safely storing trading cards or stickers, merging creativity with functionality.

Conclusion

This immersive day trip in Tokyo is not just a fun outing; it's a chance to engage in hands-on creativity while enjoying thrilling attractions. Whether modifying robotics, crafting soft vinyl toys, or creating bespoke acrylic goods, this unique experience awaits you!
