This award is a recognition not just of athletic prowess but of the incredible impact Chapeau has achieved both on and off the field.

During the season, Chapeau executed a remarkable play on the field that became a catalyst for change. In week 8, he performed a fake field goal run that secured a crucial first down, leading the Louisville Cardinals to a 24-21 victory against the University of Miami. This pivotal moment not only shifted the momentum of the game but also entered the annals of the program’s history as a defining play.

Chapeau’s contributions didn’t end with his athletic achievements. A celebratory post on Instagram featuring his performance garnered over 18,000 shares from fans, making it the most shared post of the season. Each share translated into a $1 donation from Rudolph Foods to The Archer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by DIPG/DMG, an aggressive form of pediatric brain cancer. In total, the effort resulted in a donation of $25,000.
