China's International Forum on Intelligent Communication 2025

The city of Wuxi, located in Jiangsu Province, was a hub of innovation and collaboration on November 8, 2025, as it hosted the prestigious China International Intelligent Communication Forum. This significant event was co-organized by China Media Group (CMG) and the Jiangsu Provincial Government, aiming to discuss the future of intelligent communication in our increasingly connected world.

Key Initiatives Unveiled

During the forum, several pivotal projects and initiatives were announced. One of the highlights was the International Assessment of the Intelligent Communication Capacities of Chinese Cities 2025, a project led by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In addition to this, the forum also announced the establishment of a Global Language Services Platform in the Yangtze River Delta. This project is a collaboration between CCTV.com, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), and Jiangnan University, aiming to enhance language service capabilities both locally and globally.

Moreover, the forum celebrated the signing of 14 key projects related to Wuxi's cultural industry. The forum featured a lineup of distinguished speakers and VIPs, including Huang Wei, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Dmitriy Palchunov, an academic from the Russian Academy of Engineering. Other notable figures included Guo Tong, the chairman of CCTV.com; Churchill Otieno, president of the African Editors Forum; and various experts from different fields, reflecting the global nature of the discussions.

Youth Perspectives

A significant component of the forum was the Global Youth Round Table, where young leaders shared their perspectives and personal stories, exemplifying the aspirations of youth in the context of intelligent communication. Speakers included Chen Ming, a host and debate participant; Zhu Yiran, director of the film Shenzhou-13; and Ana Rivas, the American champion of the 23rd Chinese Bridge competition, demonstrating the diverse voices of youth empowering dialogue and innovation.

To complement the main forum, several workshops and events were organized, exploring topics such as Digital Humans in AI, Urban Image Communication, and the Wuxi Film Forum.
