Cultivating Children's Love for Salad: A Fun Experience at Kewpie's Veggie Park
To celebrate Veggie Day on August 31, Kewpie Corporation is thrilled to announce the return of an exciting experiential event titled "Enjoy Salad! Kewpie and Veggie Friends Park". This year, the event will be held over two days, on August 29 and 30, at the Shibuya Sakura Stage in Tokyo. The motivation behind this event is to create a memorable day where children can discover their love for salads.
The event promises a variety of hands-on activities designed to unveil the mysteries and fun aspects of vegetables and salads. This year, Kewpie aims to enhance the experience by introducing a reservation system for indoor content to minimize waiting times for visitors. Pre-registrations commenced on July 28, with an online lottery system for booking spots. Don't worry—outdoor content will be accessible without reservations for everyone to enjoy.
Indoor Attractions
Once registered, visitors can participate in several creative and educational activities:
1.
Becoming a Salad Master: In this interactive quiz challenge, kids will use all five senses to solve puzzles and engage in hands-on attractions related to vegetables and salads. Successfully completing the challenges earns participants a mini salad encyclopedia and special Kewpie merchandise.
2.
Creating Unique Salads at the Salad Stand: This year, attendees can taste unique salad recipes inspired by Kewpie's group company, Delia Foods. Kids and adults alike can enjoy four types of salads, each vibrantly designed and deliciously flavored, featuring chicken, shrimp, and salmon. Customizable dressings and toppings will add to the fun.
3.
Catch the Vegetable: A crowd-favorite, this engaging activity allows participants to throw vegetables on a large screen and create their own salads using enthusiastic physical interaction.
4.
Design Your Own Salad Badge: Kids can express their creativity by drawing salad illustrations on paper plates, which will then be turned into personalized badges they can take home.
5.
Workshops for Creating Kulinary Delights: In a fun workshop, families can learn to make cake salads by decorating mashed potato salad to resemble a cake, topped with colorful vegetables for an interactive culinary lesson. Additionally, participants can create original lunch cloths by using vegetable stamps and Kewpie patches.
Outdoor Experience
No reservations needed!
Outdoor activities will be hosted at the Nigawai Stage, accessible to all attendees. Features include an AR experience where Kewpie and veggie friends come to life on your smartphone screens, photo opportunities with Kewpie, and engaging greeting sessions throughout both event days.
