HPS/PayMedix Expands Network with Marshfield Health System for Better Patient Care
HPS/PayMedix Expands Network with Marshfield Clinic Health System
HPS/PayMedix, an established independent provider network based in Wisconsin, has made a significant announcement regarding the enhancement of its healthcare services. On March 31, 2026, they declared that Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) will be joining their network, effective from May 1, 2026. This strategic move is expected to enrich the healthcare landscape in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula by increasing access to quality and affordable medical services.
Marshfield Clinic Health System is a premier integrated health system comprising over 1,600 providers spanning 170 specialties. This affiliation with HPS/PayMedix builds on a foundation of trust and collaboration between the two organizations. Notably, the Beaver Dam Hospital, a member of the MCHS network, has been part of the HPS Provider Network since 2011, indicating a long-standing relationship that benefits both parties.
The recent expansion significantly amplifies HPS/PayMedix's position as one of Wisconsin's most extensive independent networks, which currently encompasses over 110 hospitals and approximately 36,000 independent providers. The addition of MCHS not only broadens the reach of this network but also enhances the capabilities of its healthcare payments solution.
One of the most compelling aspects of this partnership is the integration of the PayMedix payment platform into the Marshfield Clinic Health System's operations. This platform promises to address a critical pain point in the healthcare sector: the challenges associated with collecting payments.
