Comerica Bank's 10th Annual North Texas Prom Dress Drive
Comerica Bank is set to host its 10th annual North Texas Prom Dress Drive throughout February, in an inspiring initiative that aims to help local teens attend their proms in style. This year, the drive will take place across seven participating banking centers, allowing community members to contribute to this heartwarming cause.
The objective is clear: to provide prom attire to those who may not have the financial means to afford it. In its previous years, the drive has made a significant impact; over the last decade, it has empowered thousands of teens, with more than 200 students receiving dresses just last year alone. Beatrice Kelly, Senior Vice President at Comerica Bank, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "For nearly a decade, we have partnered with colleagues, customers, and the community to uplift teens and help them fulfill their prom dreams."
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Comerica aims to set a new record for the number of teens it can assist. This year, two new locations have been added to better serve the community: Mockingbird-Abrams Banking Center in East Dallas and Preston John Hickman Banking Center in Frisco. The drive will also feature Project Beauty, a partnering organization committed to providing makeover services to lucky attendees from local agencies, ensuring they feel beautiful and confident on their special night.
