Cocoo Establishes Its First Local Revitalization DX-LAB in Bandai Town
In a significant step towards sustainable community development, Cocoo Corporation has opened its first Local Revitalization DX-LAB in Bandai Town, Fukushima Prefecture. This initiative aims to harness digital technology to address regional challenges and foster local talent in the face of Japan's declining population.
Partnership and Objectives
On July 25, 2025, Cocoo (CEO: Yusuke Irie), based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, entered into a collaboration agreement with Bandai Town (Mayor: Junichi Sato). This partnership focuses on solving community issues, developing human resources, and significantly enhancing digital transformation (DX) within local governance and businesses. As part of this agreement, the DX-LAB, marking its inaugural location, was officially inaugurated within the Bandai Town office on June 30, 2026.
