Bespra's Selection for Yamanashi's Open Innovation Program
In a significant achievement,
Bespra, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, has been selected to participate in the
STARTUP YAMANASHI OPEN INNOVATION PROGRAM 2025. This program is a collaborative initiative led by Yamanashi Prefecture and
eiicon aimed at addressing challenges posed by local companies and organizations through partnerships with startups across the country.
Project Overview
The program recruits startups to collaborate with local enterprises and organizations, with the goal of creating innovative business solutions. Varied challenges are presented to these startups, and Bespra will collaborate with the
Yamanashi Prefectural Health Co-operative Alliance, specifically their health management center, to foster a new project within the health tech sector.
The
specific project title is "
Healthcare AI App: Connecting Health", which aims to extend the insights derived from health check-ups into everyday life to improve health outcomes.
Co-Creation Goals
The overarching theme of this project is centered around the creation of a next-generation health and lifestyle improvement model that supports both individuals and communities through health tech. The focus is on facilitating a comprehensive health support model that spans from prevention to health promotion. Bespra intends to address the following key areas:
1.
Transforming Check-up Results into Daily Actions: Developing a system that translates the insights from health screenings into actionable changes in daily behavior.
2.
Fusing Medical and Digital Approaches: Creating a sustained health support model that effectively combines medical insights with digital tools.
3.
Promoting Overall Community Health: Constructing a framework that not only enhances individual health but also contributes to the overall wellness of the community.
The goal is to implement a new local healthcare model that consistently supports the transition from prevention to lifestyle improvement and health promotion through the connection of check-up data and everyday behavior.
Insights from Bespra's CEO, Yosuke Toyama
Yosuke Toyama, the CEO of Bespra, expressed his enthusiasm for this program: "As someone hailing from Fujiyoshida City in Yamanashi Prefecture, I have always aspired to contribute to health improvement in my hometown. Collaborating with the health management center, a pivotal player in regional healthcare and prevention, marks a significant milestone for us and fulfills a long-held goal. By combining the insights gained from screenings with our expertise in translating those into daily health practices, I am confident we can develop an innovative health model that spans the full spectrum from health check-ups to preventive care and promotion in Yamanashi."
