Sega Introduces the 'Fukumoto CUP with Nihei'

Sega Corporation has announced an exciting collaboration event titled 'Fukumoto CUP with Nihei' for its popular network-based Mahjong game, SegaNET Mahjong MJ. This special event is set to kick off on August 10, 2026, and promises thrilling gameplay and exclusive rewards for players.

Overview of the Event

The tournament will be held exclusively in the app version of MJ, featuring well-known talents Miku Fukumoto and Yuka Nihei. Players will compete in two formats, East Wind and Three Player Mahjong, simultaneously, with the grand total of scores determining the winners.

Participants can earn unique rewards such as evolution-type SP characters (SSR) inspired by the two talents, as well as themed table backgrounds and Agari buttons through event points. Notably, during the event, Miku Fukumoto herself will join as a special guest in the Three Player Mahjong mode! Players who can surpass her score will receive a unique Agari button featuring both Fukumoto and Nihei.

Furthermore, both the evolution-type SP characters (SSR) and the Agari button will feature specially recorded voices, enhancing the immersive experience for participants.

Special Events & Opportunities

In addition to the standard tournament, the 'Fukumoto CUP with Nihei' will introduce a surprise event known as 'Treasure Chance.'
