Celebrate Tanabata Festival at PLAY! PARK
From June 17 to July 7, 2025, PLAY! PARK will host a special Tanabata Festival where families can immerse themselves in the legendary tale of Orihime and Hikoboshi, celebrated beautifully through various activities and games tailored for children aged 0-2 years.
Transform into Orihime or Hikoboshi!
During the festival, kids can borrow original hair accessories inspired by Orihime's celestial robes and Hikoboshi's crown. Children can play around in their transformed look and enjoy taking memorable photos while exploring the various play areas within PLAY! PARK. Participation is open and free for children 0-2 years old.
Crawling on the Milky Way
One of the unique activities includes “Haihahi Ten no Kawa,” where babies transform into Orihime or Hikoboshi and crawl on a black fabric resembling the Milky Way. This magical area features large and small sparkling stars, with big stars serving as soft cushions and smaller stars producing fun sounds. This sensory-rich experience is free of charge and is available at irregular times during the festival.
Sliding on the Big Star
In another exciting activity, little ones can enjoy “Ozara Hoshi Suberi,” where they ride atop giant star cushions while being pulled gently across soft flooring by adults. This imaginative play allows them to feel as though they're traveling through a starry universe as Orihime and Hikoboshi. This too is free for babies aged 0-2 years.
