Elitewheels and Evolve Revolutionize Cycling for UCI Pro Team in 2026

Elitewheels and Evolve: Driving the Future of Cycling

As the new cycling season approaches in 2026, Elitewheels and its sister company Evolve are stepping forward to take their collaboration with the UCI Pro Team Solution Tech – NIPPO – Rali to unprecedented heights. Having achieved a successful debut season in 2025, the duo is determined to elevate performance, strengthen innovation, and enhance global recognition for the team through advanced technology and dedicated equipment.

The previous season saw the team leverage Elitewheels’ cutting-edge wheels and Evolve’s high-performance CIMA road frameset, gaining podium finishes, stage victories, and overall wins in various competitions including both the Giro de Slovenia and the Giro de Hainan. This success underscores the efficacy of their partnership, as the team tackled demanding races at the WorldTour level, including the renowned Strade Bianche and Milan-San Remo.

Serge, the squad's director, noted, “Our first year with Elitewheels exceeded our expectations. The wheels provided us with confidence in every condition, from challenging crosswinds to high-speed sprints.” Similarly, seven-time sprint champion Dušan Rajović praised the wheels, highlighting their rigidity and speed.

Gear for 2026

In 2026, the Solution Tech – NIPPO – Rali team will race with top-of-the-line wheel models from Elitewheels. Among these are the new Drive II, an all-terrain racing wheel designed through wind tunnel and computational fluid dynamics testing at Silverstone, saving approximately five watts compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the Drive Helix CS offers premium performance with its helical airflow design that ensures excellent stability against crosswinds, while the Drive TT is purpose-built for time trials and optimized for sustained high-speed efficiency.

This meticulous selection of equipment reflects Elitewheels’ unwavering commitment to refining engineering during the demanding conditions of actual races. In addition to supporting the Pro Team, this vibrant collaboration extends to including the Toscana Factory Development Team, which also utilizes the Elitewheels series and CIMA frames. This ensures young cyclists follow the same high-performance philosophy as their professional counterparts.

The Evolve CIMA

Evolve brings its pioneering CIMA frameset into the mix for 2026, constructed with TORAY T1100, T800, and M40 carbon materials. The unpainted medium-sized frame weighs in at just 650 grams, showcasing an optimal blend of lightweight construction and racing rigidity. Tests conducted in Silverstone's wind tunnel found that the CIMA, combined with KREUZA aerodynamic accessories, can save an average of 4.1 watts, which translates to nearly 48 seconds over a 40 km distance at 300 watts.

Founded by former industry veterans and professional UCI cyclists, Evolve emphasizes a cyclist-centered philosophy focused on real-world performance. The CIMA has quickly gained respect from both professionals and enthusiasts, positioning Evolve as a formidable player in the global road cycling market.

Collaboration Towards Innovation

This partnership represents more than a mere sponsorship; it aligns technological advancement with cohesive teamwork. Engineers, riders, and mechanics work closely throughout the season to continuously fine-tune aerodynamics, rigidity, and overall performance. Together, they portray a definitive message that the realm of cycling is advancing and that engineering innovations from China are now firmly embedded in the upper echelons of the sport.

As Elitewheels and Evolve drive forward into this new era of cycling, their commitment to performance enhancement will pave the way for success in the upcoming seasons.
