On June 16, 2023, the well-known running app, Runtrip, operated by Runtrip Inc., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to unveil a brand new clubhouse-type facility for runners called "Runtrip BASE YOYOGI PARK". This innovative venue, located within Yoyogi Park's BE STAGE, aims to combine the essentials of a running station with a wellness-focused café, making it a prime destination for both recreational and serious runners.

The Facility

Runtrip BASE YOYOGI PARK is designed with convenient amenities such as showers and lockers, making it an ideal spot for runners to use before or after work or on weekends. This encourages users to take advantage of Yoyogi Park’s scenic running paths.

What's more, runners can link their Runtrip app to track their performance and contribute to local initiatives. For every kilometer run, 0.1 yen will be donated to support sports promotion in Shibuya and conservation efforts in Yoyogi Park. Additionally, if users log a total of 30 kilometers in a month, they earn a reward which includes free drink coupons, creating an engaging incentive to encourage more runs.
