Innovative Electric Propulsion Solutions Unveiled by InfiMotion at CES 2026

InfiMotion Technology Unveils Innovative Electric Propulsion Solutions at CES 2026

The CES (Consumer Electronics Show), recognized as the leading global tech event that ushers in the new year, is once again showcasing cutting-edge innovations from around the world. This year, in Las Vegas, InfiMotion Technology, a prominent Chinese provider of electric propulsion systems, is taking center stage with its revolutionary electric drive units (EDUs). These solutions underscore InfiMotion's impressive capabilities in high-voltage architecture, lightweight materials, and advanced system integration.

A Key Player in Electric Vehicle Innovation

The introduction of InfiMotion's solutions at CES marks a pivotal moment for intelligent manufacturing in China, as the company aims to contribute substantially to the global supply chain for premium electric vehicles (EVs). As electric mobility continues to gain momentum, InfiMotion's advancements signal a profound shift in the industry, with a focus on performance and efficiency.

Highlights of InfiMotion’s Electric Drive Units

InfiMotion has unveiled three groundbreaking products designed to propel the next generation of smart electric vehicles, offering enhanced performance and energy efficiency:

1. High-Performance Dual Motor System: Constructed from an innovative magnesium-aluminum alloy, this ultra-lightweight product delivers a peak power of 340 kW while weighing only 109.5 kg, achieving a power density of 3.1 kW/kg. It is already in mass production and integrated into models like the Galaxy M9 and Lynk & Co 900, featuring torque vector control for smooth maneuvers and precise handling.

2. 900V High-Performance Coaxial Electric Drive: Utilizing a planetary coaxial configuration, this drive achieves a CLTC efficiency of 92.4% at operational voltages exceeding 750V, boasting an impressive power density of 5.69 kW/kg. With the magnesium alloy structure reducing weight by 30%, InfiMotion's proprietary oil cooling technology ensures thermal performance is maximized, allowing over 80 consecutive full-throttle accelerations without performance degradation.

3. Ultra-Integrated 12-in-1 Electric Propulsion Solution: This innovative motor integrates 12 essential components, including the motor, reducer, MCU, VCU, BMS, DC-DC converter, among others, into a compact design weighing under 79.8 kg with a CLTC efficiency of 90%. It is already being utilized in the Geely Galaxy E5 model.
