Prior to this initiative, Olight's team was attending the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 7-10, 2025, when the news of the wildfires broke. The moment they learned about the emergency, their first action was to ensure their fans and community members were safe. Subsequently, Olight recognized the urgent need for reliable lighting among rescue teams and affected families.

On January 12th, at 7:00 AM PST, Olight's team departed for Los Angeles, bringing with them a carefully curated selection of essential lighting equipment, including models such as the Seeker 4 Pro, Sphere, Perun 3, Oclip, and Olantern Music. These products were chosen for their versatility and reliability, critical traits for any situation requiring dependable lighting. Arriving in Los Angeles at 12:00 PM PST on January 12th, the Olight team quickly distributed flashlights and lanterns to local rescue teams and families in need. Emergency responders received handheld flashlights and headlamps designed to enhance operations in poorly lit areas while portable lanterns were given to displaced families to improve safety in their temporary living conditions.
