MetLife Insurance Co., a major player in the life insurance sector, has achieved remarkable recognition by securing the top position in the 2026 Customer Happiness Rankings for life insurance companies. This prestigious ranking is conducted by Nikkei Cross Trend in collaboration with Fanbase Company’s Fan Research Institute. The aim is to gauge how much happiness and satisfaction consumers derive from the presence of various brands in their lives.

Understanding the Rankings



The 2026 Customer Happiness Rankings, which ran from January 14 to February 10, 2026, focused on assessing the emotional connection and satisfaction levels of consumers across 14 different sectors and 36 categories, encompassing a total of 241 brands. The survey involved an extensive online questionnaire aimed at diverse demographic groups, with 262,173 valid responses collected from individuals aged between 18 and 69.

In essence, this research serves as a litmus test for consumer sentiment, evaluating how effectively brands, including MetLife, contribute to the overall well-being of their customers.
