- - Safety: The company achieved its lowest recorded Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) during the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The plants in Egypt and Italy reported nearly 1,500 days without a recordable incident, while facilities in Spain and Patalganga, India surpassed 2,000 days without incidents.
- - Global Expansion: Birla Carbon's Asia Post Treatment facility in Patalganga, India, became operational in October 2024, producing high-performance specialty products for the coatings and inks industry. The expansion in Hungary and new projects in India and Thailand are also in progress to enhance regional and global service capabilities.
- - Environmental Accountability: All of Birla Carbon's production sites utilize recycled treated water and/or rainwater for operational purposes. The company achieved an 11% reduction in CO₂ emissions from maritime transport in Q4 of FY 2025 compared to the same quarter in FY 2024.
- - Awards and Recognition: The seawater purification project in Franklin, Louisiana, which successfully reduced SOx and NOx emissions by over 90%, received the Environment+Energy Leader Award. Additionally, the company obtained 13 'Gold' safety certificates from the International Carbon Black Association (ICBA), the highest accolade among its six member companies.
