Tres Agaves Tequila Expands into European Markets: A New Era for Authentic Spirits

Tres Agaves Tequila Expands into Europe

On October 1, 2026, Tres Agaves Tequila, a family-owned brand renowned for its 100% agave tequila brewed in the heart of Mexico’s Tequila Valley, officially launched in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This marks a significant entry into the European market, which has shown increasing interest in premium spirits, particularly tequila, in recent years.

Tres Agaves has built its reputation on sourcing the finest agave from Amatitán, the birthplace of tequila, establishing nearly two decades of direct partnerships with local farmers. The brand’s dedication to quality is exemplified by its USDA organic certification and adherence to NOM regulations for tequila production, making it a popular choice in bars across the USA. Now, for the very first time, this exquisite tequila range will be accessible to European bartenders and independent retailers.

Thomas Vogele, Vice President of International Sales at Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits, shared insights into the brand’s strategy: "Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirit categories in Europe, and bartenders are looking for brands with genuine origins. Tres Agaves offers the trade an organic tequila sourced from a single family-run operation at a price that is more accessible than many other top-shelf options."

Market analysts predict that the European tequila market is on track to reach a staggering $2.49 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.6% from 2025 to 2030. Tres Agaves has experienced phenomenal growth, recording a 769% increase in export operations within Trinchero's division this year. Additionally, it has recently earned recognition as one of the fastest-growing spirit brands in the US according to Shanken’s "Impact 2026" Hot Prospects list.

"We are thrilled to present our organic tequila lineup to bartenders and consumers in the UK and Ireland,” said a company representative. "This is a momentous development that will surely inject more dynamism into the vibrant tequila category."
