This year’s learning experience will include:
Children will discover how gemstones are formed deep within the Earth over time, emphasizing the importance of conserving and reusing our precious resources.
Learners will gain insights into the role of appraisers and participate in an engaging hands-on session using tweezers and loupes to differentiate between natural and artificial diamonds, as well as pearls.
Kids will get their creative juices flowing by crafting their very own necklaces from pearls sourced through KOMEHYO's reuse initiatives, thus learning about upcycling firsthand.
Participants will receive special toolkits and the jewelry they created to remember their workshop experience—a unique badge of their journey into being young appraisers!
