PEI Group Welcomes New CFO: Mark Brinin
PEI Group, a premier provider of business intelligence and networking solutions tailored for investors across specialized financial markets, has announced the appointment of Mark Brinin as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With a robust background in high-scale business information services, Brinin is expected to bring significant value to the role as the company accelerates its growth trajectory.
Mark Brinin joins PEI Group after a stellar career, most recently serving as the CFO and Co-President of Wood Mackenzie, a leading provider of data and insights to global energy markets. During his nearly ten-year tenure at Wood Mackenzie, Brinin played a pivotal role in the company’s transformative journey, driving corporate transformation and enhancing value creation multiple times, establishing Wood Mackenzie as an industry leader.
His extensive expertise covers strategic and operational transformation, including post-deal integrations, change management, and value planning, obtained through various roles within a spectrum of public and private ownership models. Additionally, Brinin’s previous experience includes directing finance and strategy at RELX (Lexis Nexis) and serving as CFO of international travel data company Flight Centre.
