Welcome to the Inclusive Concert: Enjoy Music Together for Everyone

Experience Music Like Never Before

The Sumida Triphony Hall in Sumida, Tokyo, is proud to announce the 'Welcome! Anyone Concert' taking place on November 14-15, 2025. This unique orchestral event aims to be accessible to all, including infants, children who haven't yet started school, and individuals with disabilities. The concert’s philosophy is rooted in inclusivity, providing a welcoming environment where everyone can engage with the performance in their own way.

What Makes This Concert Special?

Unlike traditional classical concerts, this event integrates various interactive elements that enable attendees to not just listen, but actively participate in the music experience. Specific arrangements have been made to accommodate wheelchair users comfortably at the front, ensuring ample space for mobility. For guests with hearing impairments, the venue will be equipped with aids such as subtitles, sign language interpretation, and assistive devices to enhance their experience. Additionally, a revolutionary remote-controlled robot named OriHime will be available for those who cannot attend in person, allowing them to engage with the concert from a distance.

Sound Hug Experience

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Sound Hug, an innovative spherical device developed by Pixie Dust Technologies, which allows users to feel music through vibrations and light. This unique device enhances the concert experience by enabling guests to feel both the rhythm and melody of the performance. The Sound Hug integrates various sounds together using built-in vibrating speakers, bringing music to life in a tactile and visual way. This will make it possible for everyone, regardless of their abilities, to connect with the music on a deeper level.

Apply to Attend

For those interested in joining, priority will be given to individuals with hearing impairments. Applications can be submitted via a Google form available online until two weeks before the concert. Please note that seating is limited and will close once capacity is reached.

Engage via OriHime

For individuals facing mobility challenges or other reasons preventing them from attending the concert in person, the OriHime robot offers a practical solution. OriHime, developed by OryLab Inc., includes a camera, microphone, and speaker, and can be operated via the internet, which allows users to experience the concert as if they were physically present. The robot's presence enables communication and interaction, creating an immersive experience irrespective of physical constraints.

Those wishing to experience the concert through OriHime must also fill out an application form found on the website, with specific details provided about the necessary technology and set-up.
