In a significant move for the private equity landscape, Manulife Investment Management (Manulife IM) has successfully finalized around $660 million in commitments for its latest fund, Manulife Private Equity Partners III, L.P. This closure marks the third fund of funds Manulife IM has raised, further underscoring its commitment to providing specialized solutions to investors eager to tap into the expanding private equity arena.
This latest fund is supported by an existing portfolio meticulously curated in collaboration with Ardian, a globally recognized private investment house renowned for its strategic contributions to various asset classes. The portfolio comprises interests in prominent North American buyout funds and co-investments with over 15 leading private equity managers, positioning the fund to capitalize on diverse market opportunities.
