4th National Digital SASSEN Tournament in Tokyo
The Japan SASSEN Association, led by President Takuma Motomura, has officially opened registration for the
4th National Digital SASSEN Tournament. This anticipated event is set to take place on
June 14, 2026, at the
Hibiya Sky Conference, located in the heart of Tokyo, Minato City.
SASSEN, which stands for “Digital Kendo,” combines IT technology with traditional martial arts, making it a unique and modern sport that appeals to both the youth and adults. Participants will compete to determine who will be crowned Japan's top SASSEN player, showcasing their skills in speed, strategy, and finesse. Players from across the nation are invited to gather and engage in this intense battle of wits and reflexes.
Registration Now Open
The registration process for the tournament has officially begun. All players, regardless of their experience level, are encouraged to participate. The tournament consists of several categories:
- - Individual Competition - Children's Division (Ages 12 and under)
- - Team Competition (Groups of 4 players)
- - Individual Competition - General Division (Ages 13 and over)

- Registration: 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM
- Preliminary League: 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM
- Final Tournament: 11:15 AM - 11:40 AM
- Award Ceremony: 11:40 AM - 11:50 AM

Team Competition
- Registration: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
- Final Tournament: 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM
- Award Ceremony: 12:50 PM - 1:00 PM
3.
General Individual Competition
- Registration: 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM
- Preliminary League: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
- Final Tournament: 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Award Ceremony: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Pathway to the National Tournament: Qualifying Battles!
Leading up to the national tournament, the
Kanto Headquarters will host official qualifying matches in Sumida City, Tokyo. This will serve as a prelude to the main event.

Outstanding competitors may earn a seed spot in the national tournament based on their performance in these qualifying events.
