Her enthusiasm for the beach is palpable, demonstrated in her daily interactions, particularly her tender moments with family. This beach getaway marks a significant milestone for her as she prepares for a new chapter in her life.

Jonah Monroy


At 22, Jonah from Elk River, Minnesota has journeyed through life with autism and OCD from a young age. After a grueling summer road trip left him disheartened about travel, Jonah is ready to give it another go. Accompanied by his supportive sister, Siri, Jonah embarks on this new adventure. The family hopes this trip will reignite Jonah's passion for exploring, fostering his connection with travel once more.

Brittney Sherell


Brittney, a 33-year-old author and poet based in Atlanta, is not just participating in this series; she is using her platform to advocate for fellow travelers on the autism spectrum. Having experienced life in foster care, she is passionate about inclusivity in travel, particularly relating to airport accessibility. Brittney’s vibrant personality and commitment to improving travel experiences for others resonate throughout her journey in this series, promoting joy and self-empowerment as she plans her ideal beach getaway.
