Discover the Exciting Shimarisu Camp
As summer approaches, families are on the lookout for fun and engaging activities. The Shimarisu Camp, organized by Plus One Education, a subsidiary of Riso Education Group, promises an unforgettable four-day experience in the serene forests of Japan. This summer camp caters to children from grades one to six, allowing them to enjoy outdoor activities that they may not have tried before.
Highlights of the Camp
1. Tree Climbing with Professionals
One of the standout activities is tree climbing. Under the guidance of certified instructors from the Tree Climbing Japan organization, even those who may not be athletically inclined can tackle the heights comfortably. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves, and reaching the top earns them little prizes, fostering a sense of accomplishment. For those who are less confident, they can climb as far as they feel comfortable, making this an inclusive experience.
2. Take Home Freshly Harvested Veggies
It's not just about the thrill of climbing; campers also get to participate in vegetable harvesting. Many children have found new favorites among veggies they previously disliked. They can bring home the fresh produce they harvested, making meal times a nostalgic experience as they reminisce about their camp adventures.
3. Fully Booked Last Year – Don’t Miss Out!
The 2025 Shimarisu Camp was so popular that all four sessions were fully booked. The activities range from water games to obstacle courses, catering to a wide range of interests and ensuring a memorable summer break. This year, there are additional sessions available on August 2, August 10, and August 19, so there are plenty of chances for families to join in the fun.
