The Water Replenishment District (WRD) is thrilled to announce the upcoming 16th Annual Groundwater Festival, scheduled for May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their headquarters located at 4040 Paramount Blvd, Lakewood, CA 90746. This beloved event is a free, family-friendly celebration focused on the vital role that groundwater plays in Southern California's water supply.

Groundwater is a crucial resource, supplying almost half of the total water demand in WRD's service area. With this festival, the WRD aims to raise awareness about the importance of safeguarding our underground water reserves, which are often overlooked yet essential for our daily lives.
