BLUETTI Unveils Innovative Balcony Solar Solutions in Paris

BLUETTI Introduces Smart Solar Solutions for Urban Balconies in Paris

On May 12, 2026, BLUETTI held a groundbreaking event in Paris to unveil its latest Balco series, which consists of three models: Balco 260, Balco 500, and the Balco Transfer Hub. This new series is designed to revolutionize how urban dwellers harness solar energy directly from their balconies. The core philosophy behind the Balco series can be summarized in three words: Simple, Smart, Savings.

Plug-and-Play Convenience

The Balco 260 and Balco 500 models are engineered to be user-friendly, combining various components such as MPPT controllers, micro-inverters, batteries, and safety modules into a single compact unit. This integration allows for a straightforward plug-and-play installation process, making it accessible even for those with minimal technical knowledge. With the addition of the magnetic Smart S Meter from BLUETTI, users can monitor performance seamlessly.

Wireless Connectivity and Smart Integration

Emphasizing the significance of automation, the Balco series incorporates an IoT (Internet of Things) framework through BLUETTI Space. This feature enables up to six devices to connect wirelessly and automatically over a Wi-Fi network. Notably, the Balco 260 is capable of supporting five additional BC 260 expansion batteries, potentially increasing the storage capacity up to an impressive total of 15 kWh, meeting the energy needs of urban households effectively.

Intelligent Energy Management

At the heart of the Balco series lies a sophisticated AI-driven Energy Management System (AI-EMS). This system is designed to analyze real-time energy prices, solar generation forecasts, and cloud-based data to develop optimized energy management strategies. The models boast a remarkable efficiency rating of 96.11%, while remaining extremely energy-efficient with a mere standby power consumption of 4.5 W. By leveraging AI-EMS and integrating smart energy meters, users can generate their own power and reduce reliance on grid electricity.

Meeting High Consumption Demands

In addition to household energy savings, the Balco 500 model can achieve a capacity of 15 kWh and deliver up to 11 kW of power for emergency backup in the event of outages. On the photovoltaic front, Balco 260 supports up to four MPPT channels, allowing for an impressive total input power of 2,400 W. The Balco 500 is further enhanced with a high-voltage MPPT design (70 V-470 V), allowing it to accommodate up to 4,300 W of solar energy.

Unlocking the Value of Existing Devices

The Balco Transfer Hub acts as a bridge between portable power stations (including products from both BLUETTI and third parties) and a grid-connected balcony solar setup. By connecting the energy storage system directly to home power circuits via a standard outlet, this hub provides grid-compliant power of up to 800 W.
