The 11th Annual Baseball Research Contest Opens for Young Scientists

Announcing the 11th Annual Baseball Research Contest

The Baseball Hall of Fame Museum is excited to announce the upcoming 11th Annual Baseball Research Contest. This competition is aimed at elementary school students who are passionate about baseball. Since its inception in 2016, this contest has seen participation from over 1,400 students, making it a well-respected event in the baseball community.

About the Contest

This year’s contest will accept entries from August 1, 2026, to November 15, 2026. We encourage young budding researchers to investigate various aspects of baseball, with their findings reflected in original work. Students can submit research that has also been presented at school; however, it must be the student's own original creation. We kindly ask that submissions do not consist solely of artwork or crafts, nor should they be fragile, hazardous, or difficult to transport or store.

Entries must be submitted through an application form. Participants are advised to keep copies of their works, as the originals will not be returned. The entries should be sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum at the following address:

公益財団法人 野球殿堂博物館
「野球で自由研究!コンテスト」係
〒112-0004 東京都文京区後楽1-3-61

Phone Number: 03-3811-3600
[Phone Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM]

Awards and Recognition

Award winners will be announced around March 2027, on the museum’s official website. Selected works will be showcased in an exhibition at the museum, and the winning projects will become part of the museum’s permanent collection. All participants will receive a certificate of participation as a token of recognition for their hard work, which will be dispatched around February 2027.
