GoodWe Launches Comprehensive Warm Home Solution Amid Historic UK Home Modernization Plan
GoodWe Launches Warm Home All-in-One Solution in the UK
On May 6, 2026, GoodWe introduced its groundbreaking Warm Home All-in-One Solution during an event held in London, attended by nearly 150 industry leaders and market experts. This comprehensive solution integrates solar energy, storage systems, electric vehicle charging, heating, and intelligent energy management into one cohesive system. This innovation aims to help homeowners access clean energy more easily while also reducing costs.
Daniel Huang, the founder and CEO of GoodWe, emphasized the importance of the Warm Homes Plan, a governmental initiative in the UK designed to transform homes into active energy units. According to him, this will enable houses not only to consume energy but also to produce and manage it, a concept he referred to as 'energy prosumers.'
Growing Demand for Solar Energy in the UK
Markus A.W. Hoehner, founder and CEO of EUPD Group, noted the increasing demand for residential solar energy in the UK. He expressed that the market is structurally oriented towards accelerated adoption of solar photovoltaics and battery storage systems. Nearly all providers in the UK now offer photovoltaic and storage packages as standard offerings for households.
In January 2026, the British government announced the £15 billion Warm Homes Plan, which aims to modernize up to five million homes by 2030. Approximately £5 billion of this budget is set aside for fully funded modernization packages aimed at low-income households. This plan will support the broader rollout of solar photovoltaics, batteries, and heat pumps through a combination of subsidized, interest-free loans, and investment mechanisms.
GoodWe's All-in-One Solution
GoodWe's Warm Home All-in-One Solution directly addresses the needs of the UK residential solar market with its comprehensive offering that includes photovoltaic building materials (PVBM), inverter and storage systems such as the ESA series, an electric vehicle charger, heat pumps, and smart management. The system allows for a self-consumption rate of up to 70%, significantly lowering energy costs and emissions.
To cater to various local living conditions, GoodWe also offers a compact micro-storage solution tailored for social housing and homes with limited space, providing access to clean energy with minimal effort. The company's approach, summarized as 'One System, One Supplier, One Service,' simplifies the installation process and alleviates compatibility issues for installers. For homeowners, this translates into a smoother user experience and a more reliable system.
Core of the Solution: ESA Energy Storage System
At the heart of this innovation lies the ESA All-in-One energy storage system, which combines a solar photovoltaic inverter with modular batteries and an intelligent energy management system. GoodWe's '4S System' is designed to provide a user-friendly experience, characterized by quiet, intelligent, safe operation and simplicity. The ESA series features noise levels not exceeding 30 dB, even for three-phase models. This is achieved through proprietary silent fans, real-time adjustment to operating conditions, and an ultra-quiet mode that can be activated by the user.
White Paper on Acoustic Performance Innovations
At the event, GoodWe, in collaboration with TÜV Rheinland, unveiled a white paper detailing the acoustic performance of photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions. This represents the first document in the industry focusing on noise reduction in photovoltaic systems and energy storage, aiming to set low-noise standards across the sector and enhance user experience.
Aditya Lyer, key account manager at TÜV Rheinland, highlighted the need for clearer industry noise standards for home energy storage systems to define acceptable noise thresholds and ensure the design minimizes disturbances in densely populated areas.
Partnerships and Future Prospects
During the London launch, GoodWe and Kraken celebrated the signing of their partnership agreement. Among the intelligent features of the ESA series devices is compatibility with virtual power plants (VPPs) and energy management systems (EMS). GoodWe has successfully completed system compatibility and integration with the Kraken technology platform, which supports the smart tariffs of Octopus Energy, marking an important step forward in making solar energy more accessible.
As the UK continues to prioritize clean energy initiatives, GoodWe's innovative solutions position it at the forefront of the solar energy market, paving the way for a sustainable energy future in homes across the country.
