Cosmos Festival 2025 at Showa Kinen Park
The stunning cosmos flowers will bloom once again at Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa and Akishima, Tokyo, from
September 6 (Saturday) to October 26 (Sunday), 2025. Expect to see four beautifully laid-out flower fields featuring a variety of blooms:
Yellow Cosmos 'Lemon Bright',
Cosmos 'Sensation',
Autumn Bouquet Garden, and
Kokia.
One of the highlights this year is the
Kokia, which will for the first time grace the Herb Hill. Visitors will be able to witness the transformation of these plants from vibrant green to brilliant red throughout the event, making it a must-see attraction.
In addition to flower-filled displays, the festival will host a special
Photogenic Bubble Time in each flower field, where guests can take captivating photographs with the beautiful flowers and whimsical bubbles as the backdrop.

- A portion features mixed Yellow Cosmos.
- - Sensation (Location: Nishi Flower Field)
- Estimated 200,000 blooms
- Best viewing: Mid-September to early October
- A classic variety known for its large, delicate blossoms.
- - Autumn Bouquet Garden (Location: Minami Flower Field)
- Approximately 20 varieties, 200,000 blooms
- Best viewing: Late August to early October
- An imaginative mix designed to look like a bouquet from any angle.
- - Kokia (Location: Herb Hill)
- 2,800 plants
- Best viewing: Early August to late October
- Expected peak color change in late September to early October.
