Ark Communications Strengthens Bond with Japan’s Freestyle Ski Team

Ark Communications, a Tokyo-based company, is thrilled to announce the continuation of its official team supporter contract with the Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) for the Freestyle Ski Team, specifically covering events such as halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air.

This partnership, first established last season, is aimed at creating mutually beneficial relationships between minor sports athletes and small to medium-sized businesses. Since the formation of the Ark Communications Ski Team in 2011, the company has dedicated itself to supporting elite athletes in their pursuit of excellence.

The previous year's collaboration has already shown promising results, evident in the athletes' performances in international competitions. Thanks to the continued support from Ark Communications, the freestyle skiing athletes are expected to further enhance their skills and competitiveness.

About the Ark Communications Ski Team

The Ark Communications Ski Team was established as a member of the Tokyo Ski Federation in September 2011, focusing on expanding participation in two disciplines: cross-country skiing and ski orienteering. This team aims to foster and support athletes who compete on a global scale. To further enhance assistance for its members, the team has formed a “Minor Sports Support Consortium,” established a fan club, and created a sponsorship program, actively collaborating with local communities, individuals, and other companies to ensure broader support beyond what Ark Communications alone can offer.

The current team includes athletes such as Yuuki Ishihara, representing Japan in ski orienteering, and Hiroki Komaki, competing in orienteering.
