Overview of Claude Code Practical Course
Recently, the Claude Code Practical Course, organized by Uravation, attracted an unprecedented number of participants—2,066 in total—over two days. This achievement marks it as one of the largest practical AI courses in Japan. Participants included 995 in the basic course and 1,071 in the advanced course, which took place on April 18 and 19, 2026, via Zoom.
Background of the Course
Claude Code is a next-generation AI coding tool offered by Anthropic, operating directly within the terminal, as opposed to conventional browser-based AIs. This significant advantage allows it to comprehend the file and folder structure on users' PCs, enabling actual file manipulation, code generation, and task automation. With a substantial annual revenue of $2.5 billion and 97 million SDK downloads globally, Claude Code's rapid adaptation in sectors beyond software development highlights the tool's rising importance.
However, the domestic offering of structured courses in Japanese has been limited, creating confusion regarding its capabilities, leading many to struggle with setup or seek beginner-friendly resources. To fill this gap, Uravation designed the course series based on the insights of CEO Suguru Sato, who has automated much of the company's operations using Claude Code. The initiative aimed to help both individuals and business personnel effectively utilize the tool from day one.
