With global operators collectively possessing over one billion home gateways, there's a natural pathway for these companies to expand from simple home internet services to comprehensive smart home solutions. Huawei's recently developed AI Homehub exemplifies this innovation, which one operator has utilized to grow its smart home services revenue by 60%.

Furthermore, Chen discussed how SME solutions, such as Fiber to the Office (FTTO) offerings, enable operators to present standardized digital solutions that enhance business efficiency. This has already resulted in over two million FTTO users in China, showcasing the substantial business opportunity.
