In an exciting development for electric vehicle (EV) users in Niigata Prefecture, Tem Fields Factory Co., Ltd., based in Seika-cho, Kyoto, has completed the installation of FLASH super fast chargers at six supermarkets operated by Waroque. These chargers will significantly improve the convenience of charging for local residents and visitors alike.
The FLASH chargers are designed to support both CHAdeMO and NACS standards, providing rapid power delivery of up to 240kW. This will enable EV owners to recharge their vehicles quickly while they shop, promoting a seamless integration of EV infrastructure into their daily lives. The roll-out of these chargers will take place at three Waroque locations, with the first, located at the Waroque Toriya-minami store, set to commence operations on October 1, 2025. The other two, situated at the Komo store and Okayama store, are scheduled to begin shortly afterward on October 2, 2025.

By introducing charging solutions in strategic locations such as supermarkets, they are making it easier for EV owners to incorporate charging into their day-to-day errands. The FLASH chargers have been developed for convenience, operating on a pay-per-use basis without requiring membership registration.
This endeavor emphasizes the growing trend of integrating EV charging stations into commercial and public spaces across the country, further supporting the shift towards sustainable transport technologies. It is exciting to think about how these advancements will transform the shopping experience for customers, providing them the flexibility to recharge their vehicles while completing their grocery shopping.
To track the operational status of the chargers, users can refer to the EV Navi app, with downloadable links available for both iOS and Android stores, ensuring that customers have the latest information at their fingertips.
This initiative not only paves the way for a cleaner environment but also responds to the increasing demand for EV charging solutions as electric vehicles become a common sight on roads, marking a significant step forward for both Tem Fields Factory and Waroque supermarkets.
