Join the Publink Event for Organizational Reform in the Public Sector
On September 13, 2026, Publink Inc., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is launching the "Publink Event: Cutting-Edge Reforms in the Public Sector" in collaboration with Project K (the Young Officials Forum aiming for a new Kasumigaseki), supported by the Digital Agency. This event will gather key figures working on organizational and operational changes in both the public and private sectors.
This year's event marks a year since the previous gathering, which addressed boosting productivity within government and local administrations, which featured former Digital Minister Hirai Masaaki. Since then, efforts to implement Government AI, known as "Gennai," across various ministries, as well as the expansion of AI utilization in administrative tasks and enhancement of domestically developed AI, have reached a new phase.
Given Japan's ongoing workforce decline, enhancing productivity has become an urgent challenge. The questions posed include: How much can domestic AI transform administrative practices and public services? What is the key to moving organizations that resist change? Amid a worsening labor shortage, how can we transform operations while ensuring service quality?
At this event, notable figures such as Minister of Growth Strategy Shunichi Hoshino and Digital Minister Hisashi Matsumoto will be present alongside other leaders executing reforms in national and local governments, as well as businesses. Experts from AI, organizational development, and operations will discuss the current landscape and future strategies for the public sector.
Physical attendance is limited to national and local government officials and sponsoring companies, while anyone can join online. After the sessions, an exclusive networking event for in-person attendees will take place, fostering discussions and collaborative ideas among participants.
Let’s learn from the insights of those leading transformations at the forefront of national, local, and corporate levels. Through dialogue and co-creation, we can aim to enhance productivity and growth across society.
