The Ending Industry Exhibition, or ENDEX, stands as Japan’s premier specialized exhibition for everything related to end-of-life services, including funerals, burial, memorials, and inheritance services. The exhibition not only seeks to improve pricing for funeral services, operational efficiency, and customer acquisition but also addresses manpower challenges and environmental considerations within the sector.

Tokyo Hakuzen, established in 1921, has gained experience and expertise in the management of crematories and funeral homes. Through their role as the host of the ENDEX, they aim to collaborate with industry stakeholders to enhance revenue streams, redesign business models for price improvement, and develop and secure human resources.

The 10th event, ENDEX 2024, scheduled for August 28-29, 2024, welcomed 172 exhibitors and drew a record attendance of approximately 13,000 visitors, along with over 120 media representatives. The exhibition featured trending topics such as digital transformation in the funeral services sector, boosting revenue, and workforce development, resulting in participation from over 1,500 attendees in its 34 specialized seminars.

The upcoming 11th edition of the ENDEX will take place on September 10 and 11, 2025, at Ariake GYM-EX, with a focus on intriguing events like a joint memorial service with nine Buddhist sects and pre-funeral ceremonies featuring well-known personalities. The exhibition aims to be a compelling venue for business matching, appealing to both exhibitors and attendees alike.
