AlphaESS Expands Energy Storage Solutions Across Europe at Intersolar 2026

AlphaESS Expands Its Horizons at Intersolar Europe 2026

In June 2026, AlphaESS marked a significant milestone at Intersolar Europe 2026, unveiling its enhanced energy storage ecosystem tailored for the European market. Over a decade of localization efforts has positioned AlphaESS to evolve beyond traditional energy storage manufacturing into a comprehensive software and connectivity-driven solutions provider. This strategic shift aims to meet the challenges posed by rising energy costs, grid demands, and complex tariff structures throughout the continent.

A Focus on Integrated Energy Solutions

The company showcased its full-scenario product lines, emphasizing the importance of integrated storage solutions. One of the standout products was the STORION-LC-TB150, a liquid-cooled system designed specifically for commercial and industrial applications. With a power output of 150 kW and a storage capacity of 313 kWh, this system caters to various settings, including factories and office buildings. Emphasizing operational discretion, the STORION-LC-TB150 operates at a remarkably low noise level, around 60 dB(A), akin to typical conversations, allowing for placement in close proximity to daily operations without disruptive noise.

Additionally, safety features are paramount, with the STORION-LC-TB150 meeting UL 9540A fire safety standards and boasting up to 12,000 cycles of use, indicating its longevity and reliability in demanding environments.

On the utility-scale side, AlphaESS has leveraged a decade of experience and local expertise to support its product development. A significant project in the Czech Republic, encompassing 320 MWh across locations like Chvaletice and Kladno, showcased AlphaESS's capacity for large-scale deployments. The Aster 6260, a liquid-cooled system rated at 3.13 MW and 6.26 MWh, is designed for high-density applications, boasting integrated safety features, remote commissioning, and AI-enabled operation management.

Powering the Future Through Connectivity

At the heart of AlphaESS's expanded ecosystem is AlphaConnect, a platform that connects batteries, partners, and energy markets to facilitate the exchange of data and services. This platform features open APIs that support aggregation and interoperability for Virtual Power Plant (VPP) operators and third-party systems. Notably, in the UK, AlphaConnect is deeply integrated with Octopus Energy, a leading smart energy platform, enhancing capabilities for intelligent scheduling and asset management.

By partnering with over 100 energy firms across more than 12 countries, AlphaESS enables users to maximize value from software, optimize tariffs, and navigate the complexities of energy markets—all while enhancing collaboration with local partners.

Local Commitment and Future Aspirations

Reinforcing its commitment to the European clean energy transition, AlphaESS announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Spain, alongside plans for expansion into the Benelux region and continued progress on its Czech project. This expansion reflects AlphaESS's dedication to providing local services, bolstering its delivery capabilities, and nurturing long-term relations with the European market.

Founded in 2012, AlphaESS has rapidly established itself as a leading provider of energy storage solutions worldwide, with over 40 subsidiaries and more than 300,000 systems operational in over 130 countries. The company is committed to facilitating access to reliable and clean energy for millions, highlighting its crucial role in driving the energy transition towards sustainability.
