United Imaging Intelligence Introduces Breakthrough Sustainable AI Solutions at ECR 2025

United Imaging Intelligence Highlights Sustainable AI Solutions at ECR 2025

United Imaging Intelligence (UII), a trailblazing entity within the United Imaging Group that specializes in medical artificial intelligence, made a significant mark at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2025. This year’s event, themed "Planet Radiology," revolved around sustainability in healthcare, and UII demonstrated its commitment by showcasing technologies aimed at enhancing diagnostic efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

A Focus on Sustainability and Healthcare Innovation

At the core of UII's philosophy lies the "Born with AI" concept, which integrates artificial intelligence into its entire range of medical imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, PET/CT, and mammography systems. These advancements are designed to improve the speed and safety of medical imaging, ultimately contributing to a more intelligent healthcare system.

One standout feature is the uAI algorithms—such as the uAIFI ACS integrated into MRI systems—that significantly accelerate imaging processes. This technology can complete whole-body scans in under 100 seconds, with targeted areas like the head and pelvis scanned in an impressive 88 seconds and 73.4 seconds, respectively. For CT imaging, the DELTA algorithm elevates imaging quality while reducing radiation exposure by as much as 80%. Similarly, it boosts low-contrast resolution nearly 160%, ensuring patients receive optimal diagnostic information with minimal risk.

In the PET/CT realm, the HYPER DLR application enhances image quality by significantly increasing the signal-to-noise ratio. Moreover, UII's implementation of the uAI Vision application across all imaging modalities enables real-time monitoring of quality assurance and intelligent scanning control. This innovation prevents unnecessary repeat scans, further reducing the environmental footprint of examination processes through decreased use of contrast agents and diminished scanner energy consumption.

Transforming Clinical Workflows with Large AI Models

At ECR 2025, UII also unveiled its latest advancements utilizing large language models (LLMs) that are changing how clinical workflows are managed. Their applications, such as uAI AVATAR and uAI MERITS (Metaverse Ecosystem for Robotic Intervention, Therapy, and Surgery), harness deep learning and natural language processing to facilitate both diagnostics and procedures, thereby enhancing overall oncological efficiency.

The uAI AVATAR functions as an intelligent medical assistant, facilitating better communication between patients and healthcare providers and offering real-time diagnostic insights to clinicians. This tool proves particularly valuable in complex clinical environments where timely decision-making is paramount.

Meanwhile, the uAI MERITS surgical platform supports surgeons during operations by analyzing real-time data, thus aiding in preoperative planning, intraoperative navigation, and postoperative evaluations. This real-time assistance not only enhances surgical precision but also improves patient outcomes by ensuring that critical information is readily accessible when needed most.

A Future Committed to Collaboration and Sustainability

United Imaging Intelligence is poised to make an enduring impact in Europe, recently establishing its European headquarters and underlining its commitment to long-term partnerships within the region. With 13 CE-marked applications and over 15 AI platforms, UII seeks to collaborate closely with local healthcare providers to drive shared success.

This commitment to sustainability is entrenched in UII’s vision for healthcare; their innovations are designed to be both accessible and beneficial, promoting an efficient and equitable healthcare system. As they continue to enhance their services, UII aims to reshape the medical landscape, leveraging technology to deliver superior patient care while prioritizing environmental considerations.

Through its forward-thinking initiatives, United Imaging Intelligence not only exemplifies the integration of futuristic technology in medical imaging but also sets a benchmark for sustainability in healthcare, making every scan faster, safer, and greener.
