The 7th Okayama Children’s Future Musical 'Harold!' Cast Revealed
The Okayama Children’s Future Musical, organized by Kabaya Ohayo Holdings, is set to showcase its latest production titled 'Harold!' on August 12 and 13, 2025. This anticipated event marks the seventh iteration of the musical, which initially began in 2017. The selection process for young actors and staff has now concluded, ensuring a vibrant and dynamic cast ready to light up the stage.
In April, auditions were held to select child performers for key roles, as well as a team of child staff members and adult supporters. Over 250 hopefuls, ranging from third-grade elementary students to third-year high school students from Okayama Prefecture, showcased their talents for the opportunity to take part in this enriching experience. After a meticulous selection process,79 members have been chosen: 61 child actors, 12 child staff, and 5 adults.
Rehearsals commenced on May 24, leading up to the performance at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, promising an even more spectacular show than previous years. The dedication and enthusiasm from the cast are palpable, and the team is eager to bring their unique stories of growth and discovery to life.
