Crazy Salt Supports Santa Anita Week in Tokyo
From July 20 to July 24, 2026, Tokyo City Horse Racing will celebrate
Santa Anita Week, proudly sponsored by
Crazy Salt, a brand known for its unique herb and spice seasonings. This event, which marks a 31-year tradition of cultural exchange through horse racing between Japan and the United States, aims to promote the recognition of both Tokyo City Horse Racing (TCK) and Santa Anita Park in California.
What is Santa Anita Week?
Santa Anita Week is organized as part of a friendly exchange initiative between Tokyo City Horse Racing and Santa Anita Park. The event isn't just about racing; it also features delicious American cuisine and the famous Mint Julep cocktail, an official drink of the Kentucky Derby. Attendees can explore various market booths offering American horse racing merchandise and a variety of products from the Crazy series.
On July 22, the event will highlight the
Santa Anita Trophy (SⅢ), commemorating the spirit of friendship through a special race. Additionally, fans can look forward to a talk show featuring JRA jockeys and a chance to win exciting prizes in the
SANTA ANITA lottery.
Crazy Salt's Involvement
The
Japan Green Tea Center, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, has a mission to provide cultural and pleasant experiences through their selection of herbs and teas. Established in 1969, they have diligently sought to deliver safe and high-quality products, including the famed
Crazy Salt, imported since 1980 from the U.S.
Aligning with the objectives of promoting Japanese-American friendship, the Japan Green Tea Center decided to support this noteworthy event.
Crazy Salt Race on July 22
The standout event will be the
Crazy Salt Award race on July 22, where one lucky horse will have their connections rewarded with five products from the Crazy series as a prize. The Crazy series includes classic flavors such as Crazy Salt and the ever-popular Crazy Garlic.
American Market Featuring Crazy Salt
During Santa Anita Week, an American Market will showcase ten types of Crazy products, including five from the Crazy Salt series and five from the Crazy Mini series. This exclusive opportunity runs from July 20 to July 24 at a special booth in front of the G-FRONT area.
With cash-only transactions, attendees are encouraged to check the pricing details displayed on-site.
Chance to Win in the SANTA ANITA Lottery
On July 22, visitors will also have the chance to participate in the
SANTA ANITA lottery, where they can win four types of the Crazy Mini series provided by the Japan Green Tea Center. This lottery adds an extra layer of excitement to the day's festivities.
What is the Crazy Series?
The Crazy series features a versatile seasoning blend combining rock salt with various herbs and spices, enhancing any dish's flavor. Widely adored in Japanese kitchens, these seasonings can elevate meats, fish, and salads alike.
