Based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, Dr. Mehta brings over 15 years of invaluable experience from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, where she served as the Economics Director of Enforcement.

Dr. Mehta's extensive background makes her a key asset for Analysis Group, particularly in the realms of antitrust economics and regulatory enforcement. She has been instrumental in managing significant investigations, including high-profile cases like U.S. v. Google, U.S. v. Apple, and U.S. v. AT&T. As the Economics Director of Enforcement, she supervised a multidisciplinary team of economists across multiple sectors, coordinating economic analysis related to both merger and conduct inquiries.

Before stepping into the director role, Dr. Mehta had a decade-long tenure as assistant chief and chief in the Economics Analysis Group. In this capacity, she led teams responsible for investigations across diverse industries, significantly influencing the analytical and empirical methods employed by the Antitrust Division during merger assessments and competition policy formulation. Her thought leadership on antitrust economics has made her a sought-after presenter at preeminent institutions, including the Fordham University School of Law and the Brookings Institution. Furthermore, she has shared her expertise as an adjunct professor of economics at Johns Hopkins University.
