Explore Sustainability at FRONT 11201's Pop-Up Market Event in Yoyogi

Discover the 11201 SUSTAINABLE MARKET in Yoyogi

Front 11201, a vintage store originally from Brooklyn, is hosting an exciting event called the '11201 SUSTAINABLE MARKET' on July 5th and 6th at their flagship store in Yoyogi.

The market is designed to engage the community in discussions around sustainability and environmental issues. Central to this event is the concept of 'Timeless Cycle,' which aims to cultivate awareness and promote eco-friendly practices. Visitors can enjoy various workshops, including one hosted by Patagonia, focused on recycling marine plastics into keychains, emphasizing the importance of combating oceanic plastic pollution.

In addition to workshops, the market features a variety of vendors offering unique products, such as vintage kitchenware from LOST AND FOUND / NIKKO, fertilizer made from recycled materials, and nature-friendly cleaning products. Organic coffee, natural wines, and preservative-free donuts will also be available, ensuring a delicious and guilt-free shopping experience. The event will be filled with varied content, including an archive sale, clothing collection for recycling, and a repair booth, providing numerous opportunities for community engagement and sustainable practices.

The event venue is located in Front 11201’s basement, designed by renowned Japanese architect Shigemori Takashi. The aesthetic appeal of the space resembles that of an art gallery, making it an ideal setting for shopping, light meals, and experiential activities.
