On August 14, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM, Manns Wine Co., Ltd. will host the "Manns Wine Summer Party 2026" at their Katsunuma Winery in Yamanashi Prefecture. This event promises a day filled with delightful experiences that showcase the best of Japanese wine culture!

- Parking: Available for approximately 100 vehicles (Please refrain from parking at nearby facilities)
- Shuttle Service: Shuttle buses will run from Shiojiri Station for convenience.

Exclusive Makers Lunch Guided by Chief Winemaker

This summer party features a special Makers Lunch led by the inaugural Solaris Chief Winemaker, Mr. Shimazaki. Guests will explore a selection of seven exquisite wines from the Solaris series, offering insight into the winery's philosophy and the terroir of Katsunuma. The highlight of this event will be a tasting comparison between aged Koshu wines and their younger counterparts. Don’t miss out on this enriching experience that combines perfect wine pairings with a specially prepared lunch box!

This event is strictly reserved, limited to the first 40 participants, so be sure to secure a spot as we will start selling tickets via our online shop in mid-July.

Special Tastings of Rare Wines

Attendees will have the chance to enjoy back vintages from the Solaris series along with exclusive wines that are not typically offered. The "Vertical Tasting Set," allowing comparisons of the same wine across different vintages, will offer a unique experience of wine evolution over time. Guided by Mr. Shimazaki's expert comments, you will appreciate the differences in flavor at your own pace.

Underground Cellar Tour

A special tour of our usually private underground cellar will be conducted, providing attendees a glimpse into where our wines mature in a cool, serene environment. Accompanied by a member of the winery staff, you will learn about Manns Wine's history and winemaking process while experiencing the magnetic atmosphere of our barrel aging room.

Our guide, Kohei Shibatani, joined us in 2019 and graduated from Yamanashi University with a degree in Wine Science. He is a certified sommelier and is involved in both winemaking and grape cultivation.

Food Trucks and Fun Activities

This year, responding to popular demand, we will feature food trucks serving delicious offerings to satisfy your cravings! Additionally, our popular “Wine Grab” activity will return, where guests can test their skills to see how many bottles of wine they can grab!
Come challenge yourself and enjoy the day with various unique wine experiences, including a limited Wine Lottery on the day of the event, ensuring plenty of fun and enjoyment while tasting our exquisite wines!
