Prior to joining NHI, Maingot served as the Chief Executive Officer at Longview Senior Housing, a company within the Blackstone portfolio. His role there involved overseeing the strategic management of senior housing assets across the U.S. and Canada. His responsibilities encompassed operational performance, portfolio strategy, and asset repositioning.

Before his tenure at Longview, Maingot spent more than a decade with Brookdale Senior Living, where he was most recently the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives. His role at Brookdale was crucial in shaping the company's long-term strategy and managing relationships with key REIT and operating partners. He led initiatives that focused on portfolio optimization, capital allocation, and healthcare strategies.

Contribution to Industry Associations


In addition to his corporate roles, Maingot is actively involved in the broader senior housing industry. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA) and is a member of Argentum's Capital Advisory Group. Furthermore, he was a founding member of the NIC Future Leaders Council, underlining his commitment to shaping the future of senior housing.
