In an exciting revelation from the Tokyo Whisky and Spirits Competition (TWSC) 2026, Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky has been crowned the Best of the Best Single Malt. This monumental recognition is a testament to Kavalan’s exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to quality. This win marks Kavalan's seventh overall championship title at TWSC, with four of those being consecutive honors as the Best of the Best.

Chairman of King Car Group, Mr. YT Lee, proudly accepted the award, expressing gratitude towards TWSC, the brand's devoted supporters in Japan, and the dedicated team behind Kavalan, who have significantly contributed to elevating Taiwanese whisky on the international stage.

Adding another feather to their cap, Kavalan Distillery was recognized as the Best Asian Distillery of the Year, further showcasing their commendable stature within the whisky community. Additionally, the Kavalan Concertmaster Vinho Barrique Finish Single Malt Whisky has achieved a place in the TWSC Hall of Fame after securing Gold status for three consecutive years.

In the overall rankings, Kavalan dominated by filling six positions in the Top 10, including both the first and second places, competing against renowned Scotch and Japanese whiskies.
