Sukiya's Seasonal Offerings for Unagi Lovers
Starting April 10th, the renowned gyudon chain, Sukiya, will be launching its highly anticipated
Unagi Beef Bowl (Unaguni) and
Unagi Donburi (Unadon) offerings. Known for their commitment to quality, Sukiya employs a meticulous three-step grilling process for their unagi, resulting in a flavorful and tender kabayaki that pairs perfectly with rice.
The succulent eel is glazed with a special sauce that has a slightly sweet flavor, creating a delicious experience for diners. Customers can also enjoy a garnish of aromatic sansho (Japanese pepper) to enhance the taste further.
In addition to the traditional offerings, Sukiya is releasing the
Unagi Beef Bowl which combines their grilled eel with beef simmered in their secret sauce. This dish is a true representation of Sukiya's dedication to combining flavors and ingredients for an unforgettable meal.
Also making its debut is the
Ontama Unadon, featuring a soft-boiled egg on top of the donburi, and the
Yamakake Unadon, which is complemented by refreshing tororo that matches perfectly with the unagi. For those looking to enjoy their meal outside the restaurant, they will also have options available as side dishes, such as the
Unagi Beef Plate and
Unagi Plate.
Sukiya's commitment to quality doesn't stop at taste. The company conducts rigorous checks, up to eleven times, on the eel before it reaches the dining table, ensuring that customers receive only the safest and highest quality food. This dedication to safety is a cornerstone of Sukiya’s reputation in the food industry.
